2011-2012 新學期於2011年9月11 日開始，附上註冊表格和新學期行事曆表, 請填寫好交給註冊組

Dear NVCS students, parents, faculty and staff,
Hard to believe the summer is over and the Northern Virginia Chinese School (NVCS) already started its first school day on Sunday, September 11. We are looking forward another successful year!

There are a few items that I would like to share it with you:
· NVCS well known Tennis Program will operate by USTA (Unite States Tennis Association) Affiliate organization with professional certified coach. The program will start on Sunday, September 25, from 4 to 5 pm for a total of 10 weeks. 網球班將於周日(9/25) 下午 4:00 時開課, 詳情請聯繫辦公室
· First PTA meeting is scheduled on Sunday, September 25 at 2:30 pm, room #223. Pauline Gee and Amy Lou, Co-Presidents of the PTA will join us to discuss the PTA 2011-2012 activities and Volunteers Program.

· The 2011 Mid-Autumn Festival will be held on Sunday, October 2, starting at 5:15 pm. Free of charges for all students and their parents who already registered and paid. More details will be followed. Volunteers are still needed for this event.

We would like to thank in advance for your participation and support in the past school year. We especially want to extend our sincere welcome to those families who join us the first time.

As you may know, NVCS is a non-profit organization supported by the volunteer services of 13 administrative officers. Volunteers are still needed for Events Coordinator and Coordinator of after-school activities.

The information of student with assigned class room will be posted on the School entrant door (building # 19). Parents of the first time students need to come early to allow time for class assignment.

#1. Please join us at NVCS Graduation/Promotion Ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 5th, 2011 starting 3 PM, at the Chesterbrook Taiwanese Presbyterian Church, 2036 Westmoreland Street, Falls Church, VA 22043.

#2. Reception will be starting at 5:30 PM. PTA is seeking volunteers to help at the reception between 4:30-6:30 PM, please contact Jennifer Li, PTA’s President lic8@yahoo.com

#3. A copy of registration form for the fall semester will be distributed. All early registration (received by July 30, 2011) will receive a NVCS T-shirt.
