#3. PTA is proud to sponsor our first Food Drive. Luckily, hunger is not an issue most of us have to face daily. But those who do have to deal with a different, stressful reality. Therefore, we are asking everyone to make a contribution of non-perishable goods. Thanks to Nina Un’s initiative. With the full cooperation of everyone at NVCS, we will certainly achieve our purpose and bring some measure of comfort to those in need. All after school activities include Tennis, Chinese Folk Dance, WuShu (Kung-Fu), Painting starting on Sunday, 10/2 at 4pm; Adult Tai Chi starting at 2:30 pm. Pleas stop by if you are interested. 課外活動包括民族舞蹈,中國功夫,繪畫班及家長太極拳於周日(10/02) 開課, 詳情請聯繫辦公室 , D-121.

1. The 2011 Mid-Autumn Festival will be held on Sunday, October 2, 5:15 – 7:00 pm in the cafeteria. Please join us to meet your child’s teacher and enjoy delicious food. Free of charges for all students and their parents who already registered and paid. Volunteers are still needed for this event. 本年度的中秋節餐會將於週日10/2下午 5:15pm在本校餐廳舉辦. 已註冊學生及家長免費, 歡迎大家踴躍出席

2. NVCS well known Tennis Program coaching by USTA (Unite States Tennis Association) Affiliate organization with professional certified coach already started on Sunday, September 25, from 4 to 5 pm for a total of 10 weeks.

4. First PTA meeting was held on Sund ay, September 25. Pauline Gee, Presidents, Shirley Zhoe, Vice President and Amy Lou, Treasurer along with more than 20 parents attended the meeting. A copy of meeting minutes will be posted on the bulletin board son.
