「北維中文學校家長會」將於13日（周日）2時15分至3時，假辦公室, # 223 舉行，我們竭誠地請您駕臨家長會。
歡迎您的加入，同時也欣喜您為子女選擇在本校學習中文及中華文化。目前，中文已是世界的第一大商務語言，中文的學習對於全世界的人是日趨重要；它不僅需要長時間的投入與訓練，還必須要有個優良的環境讓中文學習者可以不斷地練習及應用。
北維中文學校在維州已有廿一年的歷史，將邁入堂堂第廿一年的中文教育。北維除了有堅強的教師陣容外，當然家長義工們的投入，更是功不可沒。北維歷年的行政人員及家長會成員均為無給職，學校沒有您的長期支持與參與，就不可能有茁壯的未來。
我們需要家長們的蒞臨及意見的分享；沒有您的拜訪，我們不可能知道您的需求。我們竭誠地請您駕臨家長會，並告訴我們－要如何才能將您的腳步很自然且舒適地留在學校？什麼樣的資訊是您有興趣在學校與其它家長們一起學習與分享或共同參與？我們將適人力及時間來充份配合。
Dear NVCS Parents:
You are cordially invited to the NVCS PTA meeting to be held this Sunday, March 13, at 2:15 pm in Room 223.
We are looking for parents to lead the committees to oversee the following: Weekly Snack Bar, Mother’s Day Activities, and Graduation Day Dinner. Each committee will have the assistance of PTA.
We look forward to seeing ALL of you at the meeting. By working together, we can make NVCS a better and stronger learning environment for your child.

Dear NVCS parents,
PTA was held on the 28th of March from 2:30 ~ 3:50 including 15 minutes break. We have as many as
twenty parents including four fathers. Thanks to Beesha for providing 2010 Census handbags to every
participants.
Here are the meeting minutes.
1. Snack shop:
a. Fenglin (鳳麟) is the shop manager.
b. Jennifer Li, Shuhwa (淑華) and Sophia Lu are the operation teams.
c. Open new products or ideas to better serve the students.
2. Formosa Pork Sung Group Order (寶島肉鬆團購)
a. Alisa Liu (秋芬) is the task lead.
b. FFCI-Formosa Food Co. Inc has a new price list. Our thanks go to Alisa who help us to update the
new order form.
c. Jane is the coordinator.
d. Order quarterly (every three month).
3. Rice Dupling (粽子團購)
a. Ellen Cheng is the task lead
b. Task leader needs to lay out the details in an order form.
c. Next order time will be 1st week of May (ready for 端午節’s enjoyment).
d. The vendor will deliver if the quantity is greater than 100. Vendor is in Maryland.
4. Mother Day Celebration
a. Encourage mothers to go to the classrooms to receive the card-reciting from her kids.
b. The schedule will be laid out so mothers with multiple children can go to each room.
c. The PTA will prepare gift bags to those kids presenting their card to their mothers.
5. Seminar in May
a. Senior students are going to share their ideas with our NVCS students.
b. 高年級 are invited. (other are welcome)
